Faithful, Not Fearful

What is happening in the world right now? I am sure that’s a question we are all asking ourselves right now. I ask myself that question at least 10 times a day.
We are living in an unprecedented time. Our country and other parts of the world are shutting down. Stores are closing, you can no longer sit in a restaurant and eat, schools are closed, and everyone is staying indoors.
It’s a confusing time, but it is also a frustrating time. Just from my personal experience, my senior year has been cut short. Possibly no senior prom or graduation. Both of these events I have waited for years for and worked so hard to get there. But, now they might not happen. Even though in the grand scheme of things it does not come close to the health and well beings of people, it still is really upsetting.
However, instead of being mournful and moping around I am trusting the Lord in his plan.
God knew this was going to happen, this is no surprise to him. He has a plan. No one knows what is going to happen, but he does. And I believe it is going to be far more beautiful than anything we as believers, a country, and the world has ever seen.
Honey and Suede’s prayers are with all the individual’s who have been infected and are recovering from COVID-19, along with their families and friends.
Our hearts are also with small businesses. We know the struggles of a small business right now first hand. So, if you can help a small business during these unprecedented times by shopping online, referring them to your friends and family, or even order take out from local restaurants.
Seeing our communities, states, and country come together at this time is beautiful. However, we have not won this battle yet, so do your part. Stay home and stay safe.
